Community Montessori School of Bisbee trains another Elementary teacher

Located about two miles from the Mexico border in a very rural area of southeastern Arizona and being the only Montessori school in the entirety of Cochise County, one of the challenges for Community Montessori School of Bisbee is finding trained guides. They’ve had the most success with recruiting assistants and then sponsoring them for their AMI training. MGGF is proud to support for a second time the training of another guide, this time for Lower Elementary. Not only will this strengthen their program but also maintain continuity in the classroom to the students and families who are able to attend no matter what their financial situation. The community served has a 21.7% poverty rate and Community MS of Bisbee offers a free playgroup once a week as well as parenting classes to educate families about the wonder of Montessori education.
