Seeds for Ukraine

Upheaval caused by the invasion in Ukraine disrupted many schools, families, and children from their normal routines and safe spaces at school. The mission of Seeds for Ukraine is to help Ukrainian kids find their way back to schools, reconnect with friends, and provide resources and guidance nurturing their growth within a safe and supportive environment. They have consistently provided assistance in relocating and facilitating Ukrainian refugee children into Montessori schools across Europe and America. They have also continued to support the Hopscotch Montessori Kyiv campus, enabling it to reopen its doors once again for local children and educators. Seeds for Ukraine believes that education serves as a beacon of hope and a lifeline for these children during dark times. MGGF is proud to provide funding that will enable Hopscotch Montessori to replenish their Montessori classroom materials, improve age-appropriate learning tools, and enhance a safe, classroom-like shelter environment for children during air raids.
